Broken Boy

May 3rd...On my way out of town, I got the dreaded call from the afterschool program (4:30 on a Friday afternoon) that Max had broken his arm (monkey bars, of course). The carload of girls and I drove to the school to check on the boy.

May 14th...Two week check up. Plan is to put on a waterproof cast for another month so our summer fun can commence. Bad news, bones have shifted, surgery needed STAT.

May 15th...Surgery. Bones reset, pins put in. New cast (not waterproof) for 5 more weeks.
