After an extremely busy birthday week, Saturday night we celebrated by running the 1st Annual MBMS Lightning Bolt 5K at my school. The whole family ran and did very well. Kinsey shaved several minutes off of her last 5K time and ran in under 40 minutes. I also had a first when I won my age group along with running pal, Teresa.
Afterwards, Teresa hosted a birthday bash at her house, complete with this yummy ice cream cake.
It was a wonderful day to celebrate the completion of a wonderful year!
