Another fun Halloween night in the neighborhood. We had a great time tagging along with Maddie and Gabby on their golf cart. I ran into several of my students, old and current, and I think Granny and Jack had a pretty nice night giving out treats!
In today's busy world, this blog has become a way to share our lives with friends and family as well as personally journal thoughts and ideas of our day-to-day adventures.

CHI 26.2
We did it!!! Probably my favorite race ever! Felt wonderful the whole time, finished stronger than I started and ended under 4.5 hours (4:26--my 4th best time).
#11 in the books!
Chicago
It was a magical whirlwind two days in the awesome "Windy City" with the Patrick crew and Guthrie duo. Saturday, we enjoyed walking to Willis Tower (skipping the 2+ hour line to go to the top), visiting the Navy Pier rides and delicacies (Cheeseborger, Cheeseborger), walking along Lake Michigan, "Tilt"-ing out the John Hancock building, being VIP's at McCormick and Schmick, strolling around Millenium Park, and enjoying some famous Chicago-style pizza at Lou Malnati's.
