What a wonderful week in Mt. Pleasant to celebrate the Fabulous Summer of 2013!
School starts next week! :/
In today's busy world, this blog has become a way to share our lives with friends and family as well as personally journal thoughts and ideas of our day-to-day adventures.

Wounded Warrior Benefit
This weekend was the third weekend in the HJ Fox Classic Show Series. Kinsey is currently in 2nd place in the series and having a great time learning the ropes and making friends at her new barn. This weekend, she rode a new pony, Smooch, and was given the opportunity to show both days of the show, so we decided to take the camper and make a weekend trip out of the event. We all (including Chipper dog) had a wonderful time at the Georgia International Horse Park from cooking out with the SCEC crew to exploring the park by scooter. Thanks Kinsey for a fun time!

Clownin' Around
This was the second year that Kinsey, Max and Thomas have been able to participate in Kamp Keowee, the grandparent-operated camp at Lake Keowee. This year was a Karnival Kamp and all the grandkids had a ball at the midway games, kayaking, craft-making, and meeting new friends. Can't wait until next year!

Welcome Back to Fowl Cay
We just returned home from another amazing week in the Exumas, Bahamas with the "Pit, Pat, Put Clan." It was a wonderful time full of snorkeling, beach-combing, shark-petting, swimming, tubing, and memory-making. I'm hoping to post a slideshow of more pictures soon!
But for now, it's off to Kamp Karnival...

Sea World Suprise
As we were heading on our road trip down to Ft Lauderdale to catch our flight to Fowl Cay, we surprised the kiddos and celebrated Jack's 41st birthday with a day trip to meet Shamu. The weather was perfect, cool and overcast with and occasional shower keeping the crowd away and the lines short. The whale, dolphin and pet shows were our favorite and the Shamu and Atlantis coasters were a blast. The new Antarctica exhibit was super COOL, too! ;) What a great experience!
