A trip to the frigid Blue Ridge Mountains was the on the Winter Break agenda this year. Skiing, snow tubing, and Granny--what else could you ask for? Sunday we headed up to the blustery teen-temperature of Appalachian Ski Mountain. The kids started their fun with some ice skating.
Afterwards, we strapped on the boots and grabbed the skis for Max's first go and Kinsey's second try at skiing. The both did marvelous!
Monday, we hit Hawk's Nest for some snow tubing--great fun and beautiful weather, too!
In today's busy world, this blog has become a way to share our lives with friends and family as well as personally journal thoughts and ideas of our day-to-day adventures.

And it starts...
Tonight marks "tryout weekend" for Little League ball. Both kids will be playing (in the same 6-8 yr-old machine-pitch division no less) this year. Max and his 100 closest baseball friends waited for over an hour for their tryout while Kinsey's softball tryouts went a little quicker. We will be cheering on the Rays and the Pink Sox this year!

Father/Daugther Dance
Kinsey and Jack celebrated their 4th Annual Father/Daughter dance at her school Friday night while I was off at my basketball team's championship game (which we sadly lost by 2 points). The couple looked fabulous and danced the night away. What a sweet tradition!
