Fun night watching Jacob in his performance as Tiny Tim in the community theater's production of A Christmas Carol. It's always an added bonus when there are cookies and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus after the play!
In today's busy world, this blog has become a way to share our lives with friends and family as well as personally journal thoughts and ideas of our day-to-day adventures.

Thankfulness
What a wonderful holiday weekend with soooo much to be thankful for! We were so fortunate to be able to celebrate Thanksgiving with both my family and Jack's parents at Lake Keowee. We enjoyed deliciousfood prepared by everyone, playtime with cousins, hot tub time, horse riding time and of course a trip up to Cashiers to cut down the Christmas tree! Love my family!

Field Fun
This season, after the home games, we have been going into the stadium to pick up plastic bottles to recycle and earn money for both our church and for the kids' school. Last night, as kind of a reward for our work, the UGA folks were nice enough to let us onto the field for a half hour or so of "play time." People were running the distance of the field, passing the footballs, attemping field goals, and some were even silly enough to pretend to be the next Uga mascot! Fun times! :)

OBX 26.2
We just got home from the MOST WONDERFUL mini-vacy to the Outer Banks! Sure the vacation included a little marathon, but there was oh so much more to it than just a big run! The four of us with my running pal, "Reesie" had a great time at Jockey's Ridge--the east's largest sand dune, the Wright Brothers Monument, climbing lighthouses, eating seafood, sitting on the beach, walking on Jennette's Pier, and just exploring the Outer Banks in general. Would LOVE to go back again!
