Next stop...Orlando!

Saturday morning, we jumped in the minivan, and hit to road headed south to Florida. We spent two-and-a-half days exploring and enjoying Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Harry Potter was the undisputed favorite, followed closely by Suess Landing, The Mummy and Jurassic Park. Can't wait to go back one day!

Horsin' Around!

Nanny got a BIG suprise this year for Christmas--a beautiful Quarter Horse names Rio. After all the gifts were unwrapped and toys torn open, we spent some time at the stables while she got to know her new pal. Congratulations, Nanny and Rio. May this be the beginning of a lifelong friendship! :)

Christmas in Carolina

It was a wonderful Christmas afternoon and night in South Carolina with my side of the family.  Everyone loved all of their gifts and were WORN OUT by the end of the day!

Santa Came!!!

What a WONDERFUL Christmas morning we had at the Patrick house.  Santa DEFINITELY must've thought Kinsey and Max had been good this year.  Max got a brand new motorcycle and Kinsey was surprised with nothing other than a PUPPY!

After gift time, we were so lucky to get to have Jack's extended family over for breakfast and visiting.  Everyone brought delicious food and helped clean up, too!

Time to hit the road for the next Christmas celebration in South Carolina...

A different twist on a tradition we started last year.  This was a guided walk through the Christmas Story.  The kids ereally enjoyed making candles and clay ornaments and the crafters village.

HPF Christmas Party

Last night we had the best time (at the Georgia Club again this week) celebrating the season with the High Point Farm's Christmas party.  The little horse girls looked so cute all dressed up and they danced the night away.

Max had a great time, too, and met a new "friend" named Ry.  He and his older gal danced together all night, but the absolute BEST part was when Max won a door prize (a necklace) and as he went to pick up his winnings, the gentleman told him he would probably want to give it to his mommy.  Without skipping a beat, he turned around and presented the necklace to Miss Ry!!!

He's going to make a great husband one day!
