In today's busy world, this blog has become a way to share our lives with friends and family as well as personally journal thoughts and ideas of our day-to-day adventures.

Wreck Tech
As this fall has had us on the road so much (I just realized yesterday that I'd visited 6 states in 6 weeks) we got rid of our UGA season tickets. Turned out to be a blessing, first because this was a year of, what do they call it--REBUILDING, and second, because we really needed the cash this year (mostly because of the travel mentioned above!) I digress. We went to one game this year early in the season and were satisfied with that. However, while at Disney, we got a call from my bud that she and her husband had two extra seats in their sky suite for the Geogria Tech game, so we hit the road a few hours earlier than we'd planned to get back in time for an ugly win on a beautiful, cold, fall night! Go Dawgs!
Now, THIS kind of tailgating, I could get used to!!! ;)

Jack and I got home last night from the experience of a lifetime! Last Thursday, we headed to the bright lights and big city for the 2010 ING NY Marathon. This was Jack's first time to NYC and my first time in many years, so we were determined to live every minute of the trip. Besides, we were also there to celebrate our 10th anniversary (just one short year late!) Right in the middle of Times Square is where our adventure was based. Bus tour, Central Park, Night at the Museum, John's Pizza, Harlem, Broadway Joe, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Ground Zero and Freedom Tower, Mary Poppins on 42nd Street, MARATHON!, Redeye Restaurant, Pumpkin Cheesecake from Juniors, TODAY Show, and Top of the Rock!
A HUGE thanks to Nan and Granddaddy, who kept the kiddos for the weekend. The kids' had a blast at Fox's, the Cotton Gin Festival, Goat on the Roof, and the mountain house.
I think we are all ready for a nap!!! :)

Boo '10
So my little Lady Gaga was getting tired of wearing the "same old costumes" this Halloween. After wearing Minnie twice and her angel wardrobe to church Trunk or Treat, Kinsey decided she wanted to mix things up with a witch's costume. So Mickey and the Wicked Witch doesn't QUITE have the same sweet ring as the lovely rodent couple, but she did look pretty cute if I do say so myself!
