Stone Mountain Pumpkin Festival

October 13, 2007 Wow, what a busy day we had today! We got up early and drove to Stone Mountain for the 5th Annual Pumpkin Festival. When we got ther, Jack had the idea of hiking up the huge granite rock. It was a mile and a half, which didn't seem that long, but uphill with a toddler and a giant baby, it was a haul. Kinsey got a blister on her toe on the way down, so she had to ride my back most of the way back. After the hike and a really bad mix-up losing the car with the baby food in it, we went into the actual Pumpkin Festival and saw the pumpkin patch, the giant pumpkin tree, and lots of good photo-ops. Afterwards, we went to a low country boil and marshmallow roast to watch the Bulldogs sqeuak by Vandy. Go dawgs!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

October 7, 2007 Kinsey and I just got back from an amazing girls' weekend trip to Clear Creek Dude Ranch in NC. From horseback riding, playing by the river, chasing Lexie the puppy and fishing, it was a great trip. I know I'll never forget it--I just hope Kinsey REMEMBERS it!
